Jeffrey Dahmer was an active murderer in the late 1970’s and throughout the 1980’s and early 1990’s. His murders were all men and boys. He often had sex with them and dismembered their bodies. During his trial in 1992, it was stated that Dahmer had brought a man back to his residence and made him a drink in a coffee cup laced with sleeping pills, as he often did. 

The man drank from the cup Dahmer had prepared for himself by mistake, which caused Dahmer to unknowingly drink the laced cup and pass out. The best part is that not only did the man get to leave with his life, he also stole $300 from Dahmer before leaving. 

Dahmer was put in prison on 15 murder charges, each earning him a life sentence. The sentences totaled 957 years because Wisconsin did not (and still doesn’t) have the death penalty. Stranger is what happened while he was in prison. He soon began to express remorse for his murders, and surprisingly declared himself a born-again Christian before long. 

He was even baptized. On the way back to his cell from church in July 1994, an inmate tried to kill him. Though the attempt was unsuccessful, in November of that year, while doing janitorial work, another inmate succeeded in beating him to death with a broomstick handle.
