The scene was cut from the film because they thought it would take too long to set up and it would be a little creepy. However, the scene was later used in the Lion King Broadway show. Scar sings a reprise of Be Prepared with more... sensual lyrics. Nala's rejection is the reason why she leaves the pride and (presumable) ends up finding Simba.
They did a complete storyboard of it, though. You can see the scene as it was going to play out in the video below
